Murudeshwar The beach getaway

A small coastal town in Karnataka, it used to be highly unlikely that Murudeshwar was on the travel wish-list for any one other than the inhabitants of Karnataka state. 
           But the times are a changing now. Coupled with accessibility and the increased desire of visiting off-beat destinations, people have started venturing further south of beach haven, Goa, to Murudeshwar. Scuba diving has been another reason for this destination becoming popular over the past couple of years.

The most vacation deprived city

                    Mumbai financial capital of the country has emerged as the most vacation deprived city among the five surveyed towns,  Mumbai enjoy working more than relaxing at vacations. Vacations play an important role in maintaining the work-life balance, and general well-being of the employees while re-energising them to be more focused at work. Mumbai's  lead in enjoying work more than relaxing at vacations as a majority of them take lesser vacation days than they are awarded.

अजंता ऐलोरा की गुफाएँ

            अजंता गुफाएं महाराष्ट्र, भारत में स्थित पाषाण कट स्थापत्य गुफाएं हैं।  बौद्ध धर्म से सम्बंधित चित्रण एवं शिल्पकारी के  नमूने मिलते हैं। इनके साथ ही सजीव चित्रण भी मिलते हैं। यह गुफाएं अजंता नामक गांवे  स्थित हैं, जो महाराष्ट्र के औरंगाबाद जिले में हैं। अजंता गुफाएं सन 1983 से युनेस्को की विश्व धरोहर स्थल  है।
            गुफाएं एक घने जंगल से घिरी,  अजंता गांव से 3½ कि.मी. दूर बनीं हैं। यह गांव महाराष्ट्र के औरंगाबाद शहर से 106 कि.मी. दूर बसा है। इसका निकटतम कस्बा है जलगाँव, जो 60 कि.मी. दूर है, भुसावल 70 कि.मी. दूर है। इस घाटी की तलहटी में पहाड़ी धारा वाघूर बहती है। यहां कुल 29 गुफाएं  हैं जो  दक्षिण में स्थित है। इनकी नदी से ऊंचाई 35 से 110 फीट तक  है।
